No, not mine. It's James Patterson's tenth installment of the Woman's Murder Club starring Lindsay Boxer. Lindsay along with Yuki, Cindy and Claire solve a murder, a kidnapping and arrest a rapist while juggling each of their own romantic affairs.
Lindsay, a Detective for the San Francisco PD, Yuki a Prosecutor for the SF DA's office, Cindy, a reporter for the SF Chronicle and Claire a Medical Examiner, come together again in a fast pace thriller that Patterson's known for.
James Patterson, according to the Guiness Book of World Records has had more best sellers than any other author. Having sold more than 200 million copies, Patterson has created such characters as Alex Cross, Michael Bennett and Lindsay Boxer. He also writes a series of young adult books based on but not related to one of his all time best sellers, When the Wind Blows.
He's also written a classic, semi-autobiographical, novel called, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas. A heart-wrenching tale of an expectant mothers diary to her unborn son. This book is one of the most recommended I suggest when asked, "What's a good book to read?"
10th Anniversary, released just this week, is the sixty-ninth book I've read of Patterson's with only a few that I haven't. I started reading him based on the recommendation of a co-worker back in 2001 and I'm eternally grateful to that person!!
An easy, fast paced, page turner, Patterson's a great read at the beach, in an easy chair sipping wine or any place your heart desires. Just hold on or strap yourself in and enjoy the ride.
He has two books coming out in August called, Now You See Her and Kill Me If You Can. You can pre-order them right thru this website.
